William (Bill) Brier Obituary

William (Bill) Alexander Brier, 70, of West Mifflin, formerly of Dravosburg, died March 25, 2007, at Riverside Nursing Home, McKeesport. A 50-year resident of West Mifflin, he was a retired laborer for US Steel National Tube Works in McKeesport after 36 years of service. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War serving in Fort Devens in Massachusetts. He was a member of Wilson Athletic Club and VFW Post 803 in Wilson. He also was a member of the Anderson Softball Team of Franks Bar, West Mifflin. Born July 10, 1936, he was the son of the late William C. and Mary (Tatar) Brier. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Garnett M. (McCready) Brier of West Mifflin; daughter, Suzanne L. Brier of Wilson; two grandchildren, Nicole Brier and Robert Jenkins; and two great grandchildren, Kayla Daerr and Ethan Redmond. Services are private. Arrangements made by S.M. Finney Funeral Home of Clairton.
