Sarah Ellen (Daerr) Kelley

Sarah Ellen Daerr Kelley, 77 of Port Vue formerly of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Sunday, November 28th, 2021, at her home. She was born at McKeesport Hospital on August 4th, 1944, to the late John Daerr and the late Olive Perrin Bailey. Sarah is survived by her best friend and husband of 57 years William Duane Kelley, Sr. She is also survived by her daughter Carole A. Curran of Port Vue, son William D. (Stephanie) Kelley Jr. of Elizabeth, sisters Sharon Cain of Brentwood, Suzanne Schmidt of White Oak, and brother Tobias Daerr of Liberty Boro, sister-in-law Ruth Daerr of South Park, and grandchildren Abigail Kelley, Caitlyn Kelley, Emma Kelley, and William Kelley as well as several loving nieces and nephews. Sarah was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Thompson, and brother Larry Daerr. She was a Sunday school teacher at St. John's Lutheran in Glassport and a Brownie Leader in Port Vue. She enjoyed baking, cooking, crafting, and spending time with her best friend Joy, as well as spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 1st, from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M., followed by a service at 6 P.M. at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025.  Burial will take place at Round Hill Cemetery at a later date.
