Obituary
Nancy (Yenchenko) Bitkowski, 81 of Clairton, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on Friday, April 21st, 2023, at her home. She was born in Pittsburgh on July 14th, 1941, to the late Trafim and Mary (Pancrato) Yenchenko. Nancy was the loving wife of 59 years to the late Leonard T. Bitkowski. She is survived by her daughters Sherri (Scott) Basch of Jefferson Hills and Pamela (Jerry) Angotti of Clairton. Surviving grandchildren include Nathan, Michael, Jeremy, Tom, and Gabrielle, as well as great-grandchildren Mason, Oliver, and Gia. Further survivors include a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Bitkowski Sr., son Leonard Bitkowski Jr., daughter Lisa Snyder, grandson Jarad Angotti, sisters Olga and Pauline Yenchenko, and brothers Raymond, David, Jack, Leonard, and Donald Yenchenko. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and spending time with her beloved family. Nancy served meals to students at the West Jefferson Hills School District for over 44 years. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. Inurnment will occur privately. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Nancy’s name to St. Jude, Light of Life Rescue Mission, or Animal Friends.
