Evelyn Duran Obituary

Evelyn Elizabeth Gorney Duran, 93, of Dravosburg passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Sycamore Estates Personal Care Home in Duquesne. She was born June 1, 1922 to the late Louis and Elizabeth Wolf Gorney in Duquesne. Evelyn was the loving wife of the late Edward M Duran who passed away on May 22, 1994. Evelyn is survived by daughters, Christina E (John) Jones of Dravosburg, Nancy Duran of Dravosburg; son, Edward M (Joan) Duran Jr. of Somerset; brother Louis (Hazel) Gorney of Norfolk, VA; sister, Audrey (Ray) Wiley, of Jacksonville, FL;, as well as four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Along with her parents and spouse, Evelyn was preceded in death by sisters Melvine Sgarlata, Elizabeth Moses, and Joann Christner. Arrangements have been entrusted to I. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th Street, Dravosburg, PA 15034. Service and inurnment at Jefferson Memorial Park will be private. Online condolences may be offered at finneyfuneralhome.com
