Elizabeth Margaret Rose (Lauman) Rhodes

Elizabeth “Betty” Margaret Rose (Lauman) Rhodes, 84 of Elizabeth Township, passed away on Saturday, February 4th, 2023, at Jefferson Hospital. She was born in Bedfordshire, England on August 3rd, 1938. Betty was the loving wife to the late Eugene M. Rhodes. She is survived by her daughter Alice (Wesley) Moyle of Youngwood, and sons Steve (Suzanne) Rhodes of Glassport and Eugene Rhodes of Elizabeth Township. Betty is further survived by grandchildren Ozzy, Amber, Betty Jean, Samantha, Wesley, Zairra, Christopher, Milah, Billy, Brandon, and Brittany, as well as great-grandchildren Kassidy, Logan, and Bowen. Additional relatives include her siblings Darla, Joyce, Sheila, and Cyril. She enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, knitting, and crocheting beautiful blankets for those she loved. Betty was greeted in heaven by her beloved husband, family, and dogs. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, February 9th, 2023, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at E.C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave, Glassport, PA 15045. A service will take place at 10 AM on Friday, February 10th, 2023, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park, located at 401 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to defray costs.
