Dolores Marie Uphouse Smith, 89, of Finleyville, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Jefferson Hospital. She was born in Somerset on April 11, 1934, as the only child to the late Hiron and Mae Sleasman Uphouse. She was married on March 19, 1954, to the love of her life, Paul Smith, who survives her. Dolores and Paul were baptized as one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses on August 9, 1959. They have both faithfully served their God for 64 years. Dolores was known for her amazing ability to cook and bake. She was generous to all that she knew, and she loyally supported her husband throughout their 69 years of marriage. She was loved by many, young and old and she will be missed by all. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A memorial will take place on Zoom on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. officiated by Elder Marty Dawson. A private interment will take place at a later date at Mingo Cemetery.
