Charles Braucher Obituary

Charles Edward "Chuck" Braucher, 78, of West Elizabeth, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at Jefferson Medical Center Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Angela M. Lukis Braucher. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, James Braucher, and his mother, Lavada Wholery Scheckawski. He is survived by a brother, James Braucher, of McKeesport; a sister, Dorothy (Danny) Deemer, of McKeesport; two nieces, Becky (Dennis) Mahoney, of Clairton, and Melinda Calahan, of McKeesport; one nephew, Elmer Braucher, of Port Vue; and two great-nephews, Zachery Lukis and Derek Mahoney, both of Clairton. Chuck was a veteran of the Army, serving in Korea as an expert marksman. He was a member of The House of Faith Church in Herminie. Visitation and service were private. Inurnment was in Ascension Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St., Clairton, PA 15025. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The House of Faith Church in Herminie.
