Catherine Marie Dossett

Catherine "Katie" Marie Dossett, 96, of West Mifflin, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014. She was born March 4, 1918, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Warren and Rachel Maund Robinson. Katie was the cherished wife of the late Robert C. Dossett, who passed away in 2006. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many dear neighbors. Along with her husband, Katie was preceded in death by brothers, Albert and James Robinson; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Morris. Katie graduated from Steubenville High School, was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 380 Dravosburg, serving in the past as treasurer, loved to crochet and knit, and was a wonderful cook and an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at I. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 Fourth St., Dravosburg, PA 15034. Service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at the funeral home presided by Dr. Wally Neel. Interment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park following the service.
