William Gary Schricker

William Gary Schricker, 77, of Washington, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away at Donnell House, Washington, PA on Saturday April 9, 2016. He was born August 26, 1938 in Pittsburgh to the late William J. and Stella Low Schricker. William is survived by his loving wife, of 24 years, Charlene D Carone Schricker of Washington; sons, William Schricker and Robert Schricker both of Baldwin; daughters, Diane (Thomas) Gedda of Washington, Rose Marie (James) Conlon of Pleasant Hills; step children, Tara L. Bielski of Morgantown WV, Jason (Melanie) Demis of Dravosburg; brother, John (Beverly) Schricker of Bethel Park; sister Nancy DeMeglio of Jefferson Boro; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by step daughter, Nicole E Demis; sisters, Shirley Hart and Maryann Koett. William was a Journeyman Inspector for 22 years at Mesta Machine, a self-employed carpenter, and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Family and Friends will be received Tuesday April 12, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at I. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 Fourth Street, Dravosburg, PA 15034. Service will take place following the visitation at 8:00 pm. Inurnment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Washington Hospice/Donnell House, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301.
