Virginia Simko Brantner

Virginia Simko Brantner, 77, of Dravosburg, passed away at home on Sunday June 21, 2015. She was born October 1, 1937 in Whitaker, to the late John and Mary Pfeiffer Simko. Virginia was the loving wife for 48 years of the late Leon F. Brantner who passed away in 2009. She is survived by daughters, Desiree Brantner of Dravosburg; Mary (Michael) Pulley of Cosby TN; sons, Kenneth (Tina) Brantner of Gaitlinburg TN; Keith Brantner of Woodbridge Va; grandsons, Leon & Ryan; and sister Helen (Frank) Zotter of San Diego CA. Along with her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by daughter Mary Catherine, sister Rita Kelly, and brother John Simko. She loved watching TV, especially The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie, enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. Family and friends will be received Thursday June 25, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at I M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 Fourth Street Dravosburg, PA 15034. Service will take place on Friday June 26, 2015 at Queen of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Glassport. Interment will follow service at St Elias Cemetery in Munhall.
