Ruth J Tomasello

Ruth J. Tomasello, 84, of Port Vue, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015, at home. She was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Port Vue, to the late Charles A. and Margaret Koch Kinzie. Ruth was the loving wife of the late Phillip Tomasello who passed away in January 2013. She is survived by her sons, Dominic P (Debbie) Tomasello, of Wexford, and Charles A. Tomasello, of Biloxi Miss.; daughters, Ruth J. Stanich, of Port Vue, Phyllis (Dale) Mossburg, of Greenock, and Nicole Ukasik, of Finleyville; brother, Charles A. (Eleanor) Kinzie, of Crofton, Md.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ballough, of Port Vue. Ruth lived most of her life in Port Vue, was a sales clerk at Grants Department Store, a member of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in Liberty Borough, a former member of Christian Mothers and St. Cecelia Bowling League. She was also an excellent cook, baker and seamstress. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday March 22, 2015, at E.C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave., Glassport, PA 15045. Service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015, at St. Mark Parish in Liberty Borough.
