Katherine Richel Obituary

Katherine “Katie” Richel, 92, of Glassport, formerly of Port Vue & Liberty Boro, passed away at Southwestern Nursing Home in West Mifflin on Thursday July 27, 2017. She was born April 29, 1924 in McKeesport to the late Paul and Bertha Tkatch. Katherine was the loving wife, for 52 years, of James Harry Richel who passed away in 1983. She is survived by daughter, Marjorie Deliman of Glassport; son, James Richel of Glassport; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Katherine was preceded in death by sisters, Ann & Elizabeth and brothers, Paul & Mike. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church in McKeesport and enjoyed playing bingo. Arrangements have been entrusted to E. C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport, PA 15045.
