Joseph William Classic

Joseph William Classic III, 58, of Rostraver, formerly of Dravosburg, passed away at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh on Monday, January 23, 2017. He was born April 12, 1958 in McKeesport to the late Joseph William Jr. and Harriet Michalski Classic. Joseph is survived by domestic partner, Marsha Gulya of Rostraver; former wife, Karen Ruybal of McKeesport; son, Zachary Joseph Classic of Bridgeville; daughter, Alexandra Elisabeth Classic of Verona; grandchildren, Brayden Thomas & Brynn Bettina Walker both of Verona; brother, Chris (Stephanie) Classic of Dravosburg; sister, Diane (Tom) Churchill of Donora, pet dog, Orbit; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by son Nicholas William Classic who passed away 2015. Joseph was a veteran of the US Marines, a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Duquesne, Dravosburg American Legion Post 380, Clairton Sportsmen’s Club, was self-employed as “Classic Custom Painting”, loved animals, was an avid toy collector, enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors in general. Family and friends will be received from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at I. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 Fourth Street, Dravosburg, PA 15034.
