John R. Ersher Obituary

John R. Ersher, 65, 20-year resident of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Baldwin, died Saturday October 4, 2008. He was born September 9, 1943 in Pittsburgh to the late John and Lylia Oâ�™Hara Ersher. He was a retired truck driver from Sentinel Trucking Co., in Ohio, and was an Air Force Verteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include Spouse, Janet Marie S. Albert Erser; one stepson: Paul (Patience) Stanicar of Jefferson Hills; four stepdaughters: Heidi (Michael) Welch of Baldwin, Lisa (William) Madar of West Newton, Sandra (Richard) Newell of Jefferson Hills and Susan (Kevin) Grimm of Jefferson; two sisters: Rose Ann (Bud) Gutkneckt of Baldwin and Emma Jean (Terry) McDermott of Munhall; eleven grandchildren. The family will receive friends 10-11 AM Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the S. M. Finney Funeral Home, Inc. 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM with Apostle Joe officiating.
