Jesse Donald LaFollette

Jesse Donald LaFollette, 83, of Clairton, formerly of Elizabeth, Glassport and Show Low, AZ, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Baldwin Health Center. He was born May 25, 1935, in Brownsville to the late William Henry Harrison LaFollette and Minnie Marie Smith LaFollette. Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Barbara Ann Tognarini LaFollette; sons, Chris LaFollette of West Elizabeth, Glenn (Pammela) LaFollette of Springfield, MO, Don (Kim) LaFollette of Elizabeth; daughters, Barbara “Babs” (Don) Cade of Washington, D.C., Sheryl (Joe) Ingram of Port Vue, Angela LaFollette of Richeyville, PA, Teressa LaFollette of Whitaker, Rene (Rodney) Wallace of Verona; brothers, William LaFollette and Ronald (Peggy) LaFollette both of Cleveland, Earl (Linda) LaFollette of Fort Meyers, FL; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by siblings, Francis, Carl, Ida, and Gladys. He was an associate of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in West Mifflin, owned LaFollette Heating and AC, was retired from US Steel National Tube Works in McKeesport, was a sports enthusiast with baseball being his favorite. Visitation will take place from 2 - 4 pm on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at E. C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport, PA 15045. A memorial service will take place immediately following visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1075 Camp Hollow Road, West Mifflin, PA 15122.
