Janett Vehec Obituary

Janett L. (Ashton) Vehec, 82 of Glassport (formerly Bunola) died Wednesday Sept. 5, 2012 at the John J. Kane Regional Hospital of McKeesport. She was born Feb. 19, 1930 in Bunola, PA to the late John and Callie Stewart Ashton. Janett was the former Assistant Manager of the Canopy Restaurant in McKeesport and Century III Mall and was a Deli Clerk for Giant Eagle of Pleasant Hills. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve G. "P-WEE" Vehec. Survivors include: Sons: Steve (Debbie) Vehec-Glassport John Vehec-Glassport Grandchildren: Alania Vehec, Nashville, TN; Stephen (Morgan) Vehec, Clairton and Jeffrey Vehec, Glassport Aunt: Bern Allegre, Bunola Faithful friend: Sammy - "The Wonder Dog" Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, family and friends All services are private.
