Francis R McGinn

Francis R. McGinn, 79, of Dravosburg, died Saturday May 31, 2014, in Riverside Nursing Home. Born April 5, 1935 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late James and Katherine (Odenthal) McGinn. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Audrey L. (Furst) McGinn, Dravosburg. Also survived by numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-laws nieces and nephews and god child Riley McKelvey. Francis worked in the Allegheny County Maintenance Department in Elizabeth and U.S Steel National Tube, Mckeesport. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korea Vietnam Wars. He was a member of Elizabeth Methodist Church; American Legion Post 380, Dravosburg. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, James McGinn, (94) and sister, Patricia Czpiak, (14). Visitation will be 12 noon to 7pm. Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in the I.M Finney Funeral Home, 203 4th street, Dravosburg, PA 15034. Service will follow at funeral home at 7pm, Reverend John Piper officiating. Inurnment at later date at Round Hill Cemetery. Special thanks to care givers at Horizon Hospice.
