Felix P. Macioce, 85, of Clairton died April 30, 2007 at the Mercy Hospital of Jeanette. He was born Aug. 23, 1921 in Clairton to the late Mariano & Giacomina Volpe Macioce. Mr. Macioce was a 1939 Clairton H S graduate, served in the U S Armyââ‚â„¢s 267th Separate Coast Artillery Battalion in Seward, Alaska during WWII and retired in 1980 after 40 years as a millwright at the U S Steel Clairton Works. He was also a member of the Sons of Columbus of America and a former member of St. Paulinus R. C. Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor A. Gross Macioce and two brothers, John & Anthony Macioce. Survivors include son: Ernest J. (Jennifer) Macioce of North Huntingdon; Step grandchildren: Rayni M. Boyle, Sarah J. Ryan and James W. Ryan; step great grandchildren: Vincent P. and Alexis R. Boyle; also nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-4, 7-9 PM Thursday May 3, 2007 at the S. M. Finney Funeral Home, Inc. 432 North Sixth Street, Clairton. Catholic Prayer Services will be 10 AM Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
