Elsie "Tootsie" Cola

Elsie Christine “Tootsie” Germek Cola, 80, a resident of Clairton for 50 years, formerly of Glassport, passed away at home on Monday, June 10th, 2019. She was born in Duquesne on October 12, 1938 to the late John Sr. and Anna Stanko Germek. Elsie was the loving wife of 57 years to the late Gerald John “Coke” Cola, Sr. She is survived by her sons; Gerald (Shari) Cola, of Clairton, Gregory (Michael Garofola) Cola, of McKeesport, brother, Thomas (Sharyon) Germek, of North Huntingdon, as well as many nieces and nephews. Elsie was preceded in death by her brothers; Raymond, John and George Germek. She was a member of the St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton. Elsie enjoyed cooking, baking and playing cards, but will also be remembered for her kindness and humble nature. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A graveside service will take place on Friday, June 14th at 10:00am at the Port Vue Calvary Cemetery, 510 Dersam St, McKeesport, PA 15133.
