Edwin Forsythe Obituary

Edwin C. "Fonk" Forsythe, 63 of Pittsburgh (formerly of Clairton and West Newton) died Friday March 23, 2012 at the Southwestern Veteran Center - Highland Park. He was born July 5, 1948 in McKeesport, PA to the late Harry & Stella Flory Forsythe. Edwin was a former mold shop laborer for Westinghouse - Air Brake Division in Wilmerding, PA and was a U S Marine Corps Veteran earning a purple heart for service in the Vietnam War. Survivors include: Daughter, Danielle Forsythe, FL Brothers, Russell (Tammy) Forsythe, Lincoln Boro and Harry (Cheryl) Forsythe, Sierra Vista, AZ Sister, Judith Layton, FL Nieces and nephews, Leah, Cara Lynn, David and Russell The family will receive friends Sunday March 25, 2012 from 2-4, 6-8 pm at the S. M. Finney Funeral Home, Inc 432 North Sixth Street, Clairton, PA 15025. Graveside services with full military honors and interment will take place on Tuesday, March 27, at 10:30 AM in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
