We are sad to announce the passing of Rodney Carmen Juarez on Monday, October 4, 2021. Rod was born in McKeesport on July 23, 1950 to parents Santos and Shirley Abels Juarez. He leaves behind wife Alexandria, son Jason (Jayne) Juarez of Dallas, Georgia, granddaughter Zoe, sister Sona (Thomas) Madera of Dravosburg, and brother Rendell Juarez of Dravosburg. He was preceded in death by parents Shirley and Santos, as well as his brother Kim Gumbert. Rod took great pride in his military service as an M.P. stationed in Danang, and his time as a counselor at Shuman. Arrangements have been entrusted to I.M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St, Dravosburg, PA 15034. There will be no visitation, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your local veteran’s organization. Online condolences may be offered at www.finneyfuneralhome.com.
