Lawrence Gray Maple

Lawrence Gray Maple 92 of Clairton passed away Sunday, February 14th, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born in Bunola, PA on May 8th, 1928 to the late Lawrence D. and Edna Georgina McCay Maple. Lawrence Gray Maple was the loving husband of 71 years to Gloria Maple. He is survived by his children Larry (Karen) Maple of Finleyville, Ginger Begg of Saint Cloud Florida, Gail (Phillip) Marshman of Pleasant Hills, Janet (Dan) Klingensmith of Clairton, 11 grandchildren Alisha Van Bibber, John Maple, Sky Begg, Jordan Begg, Dallas Begg, Chandler Begg, Brittany Hugley, Emily Lander, Conor Marshman Joshua Klingensmith, and Kasey Wright followed by 10 great-grandchildren. Lawrence was preceded in death by his son-in-law Schylur Begg. He was a member of the U.S. Navy and he ministered at and was a member of the Clairton congregation of Jehovah’s witnesses, since 1950. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, and singing with family. Lawrence loved looking at all the beauty of Gods creations, he got to know the trees, birds, and flowers. He also enjoyed discussing the bible with others and he looked forward to Gods promise of living on a paradise earth in the future. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M.
