Nicholas Rabickow Obituary

Nicholas John Rabickow, 81, of Glassport passed away at home on Thursday March 17, 2016. He was born September 29, 1934 in Atlasburg, PA to the late Andrew and Mary Bertha Pachucka Rabickow. Nick was the loving husband of Martina Ksiazek Rabickow for 59 years. He was the beloved father of Christine Rabickow Wallace of Bethel Park and Richard Rabickow of McKeesport; sisters, Mary Ann Rabickow of Clairton, Andrea Shawley and Linda Kutsenkow both of Brentwood; grandchildren, Jill Rabickow, Corey Wallace, Veronica Rabickow and Christina Rabickow; brothers-in-law, Michael (Linda) Ksiazek & Kenny (Debby) Ksiazek; sisters-in-law, Janet Scott & Frani (Chuck) Weaver. Along with his parents, Nick was preceded in death by son Nicholas A. Rabickow. He served as a marine during the Korean War, was a member of the Queen of the Rosary Holy Name Society in Glassport, was a past president of the GAA and past manager of the Glassport Merchants in the Daily News League. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the funeral home. Family and friends will be received on Saturday March 19, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm and Sunday March 20, 2016 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at E C FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport, PA 15045. Service will take place at 10:00 am Monday March 21, 2016 at Queen of the Rosary Parish, Glassport, PA. Interment will follow the service at Saints Peter & Paul Greek Catholic Cemetery, with military honors, in Large, PA. Online condolences may be offered at www.finneyfuneralhome.com
