Mary Lape

Mary Lape, 95, of Dravosburg passed away at Senior Care Plaza in McKeesport on August 15, 2016. She was born October 19, 1920 to the late Michael and Mary Elizabeth Danchicha Cislo. Mary was the loving wife of the late William Alvin Lape. She is survived by daughter, Jean Pershing of Elizabeth; granddaughter, Patti Pershing of Duquesne; great-granddaughter, Jennifer (Miguel) Turovsky of McKeesport; many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and spouse, Mary was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Downey, Bertha Knapton, Margaret Fedor, Nancy Sesak, and Mitze Gregor; brothers John, Henry, Albert, Joseph, Raymond, Michael, and Frances Cislo. She was a retired waitress at various local restaurants, a member of the Senior Citizens Center in Dravosburg, an avid reader, a Pirates baseball fan, and a former member of St. Peter’s Church in McKeesport. Arrangements have been entrusted to I. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th Street, Dravosburg, PA 15034. Graveside service will take place at Richland Cemetery in Dravosburg on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 1 PM.
