Marie Goodrum Obituary

Marie Rita Goodrum, 88, formerly of Sutersville and West Mifflin, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 9, 1925, in Boston, Mass., to the late John Gunning and Esther Kenny. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold E. Goodrum, 2007. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara (Thomas) Perkins, of Rockville, Va.; one son, John P. (Donna) Goodrum, of Sutersville; three sisters, Patricia Miller, of Pembroke, Mass., Barbara Conners, of Quincy, Mass., and Theresa Gallegher, of Foxboro, Mass.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Sampson and Jonathan Goodrum; two great-grandchildren, Brice Sampson and Jack Sampson; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. Sixth St., Clairton. Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Lebanon Church Cemetery
