Marcia Lee Unrath

Marcia Lee Unrath, of Jefferson Hills, passed peacefully April 4, 2017. Born February 23, 1952, to the late Guy and Lucille Mills Lippzer. Marcia is survived by her cherished sister Leslee (Rick) Hinkle, and loving nieces, Lindsey (Alex) Durrani and Jesse Hinkle. Daughter-in-law of Marlene and the late William Unrath, devoted sister-in-law Lori Ann Bagley, the late Douglas Unrath, William Jr., Darrell (Laurie), Patrick "Sonny"(Jane) and many loving friends throughout the years. Along with her treasured parents, she was preceded in death by her adoring husband Greg and their beloved dog, Lucky. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and West Virginia Wesleyan. She was a humble, kind and giving soul. Forever a lover of animals, she had a never-ending sweet tooth, and remembered every loved one with cards and gifts for every occasion. She was never blessed with children, but the children at Tender Care Learning Center were blessed by her compassionate heart. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Make a Wish Foundation or the Western PA Humane Society. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date.
