Joanne J. Panza

Joanne J. Panza, 69, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1946 to the late Charles and Virginia Ianni Panza. Joanne is survived by brother, Charles L. (Darlene) Panza of Finleyville; sister, Roseanne (Dr. Lenard M.) Hughes of FL; brother, Samuel (Maryann) Panza of SC; nieces and nephews. She was a 1964 graduate of Clairton High School, received a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1968 and also graduated from with a Master's Degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. Joanne was the head of the budget department for NIH in Washington DC, a member of St Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton, was very friendly, outgoing and a lover of cats. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday July 15, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm at S M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N 6th Street, Clairton, PA 15025. A service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday July 16, 2015 at 10 am. Private interment will follow at Round Hill Cemetery.
