Gail Louise Finney

Gail Louise Finney, 79 of Pleasant Hills, formerly of West Mifflin died at home Saturday April 5, 2014 surrounded by her children. She was born on January 5, 1935 in Duquesne to the late Albert and Laura (Smith) Schultz. She is preceded in death by her husband George Finney, parents Albert and Laura, brother Chester and two grandsons Clinton and Zachary Szemanski. Gail was the mother of Deborah Finney and Guy Finney of Crown Point, IN, Tracy Szemanski (the late Larry) of Jefferson Hills. She was the Grandmother of Michael Finney of Crown Point, IN., Jacob and Ali Szemanski of Jefferson Hills, currently residing in Chicago, IL. Gail is also survived by five sisters: Donna (the late Fred) Reyes of North Versailles, June (the late Paul) Snyder of White Oak, Lorraine (Dave) Miller of Sterling, VA., Carol (Richard) Rivers of Norcross, GA., Sandy (Russell) Scholes of Gulfport, FL., and one brother, Richard (Tutti) Schultz of Wall, PA. She was the Aunt, Great Aunt and Great, Great Aunt to over 100 nieces/nephews. Gail was a member of Pine Run Methodist Church, Women’s Society of Pine Run, and numerous Card Clubs. She enjoyed crosswords, gardening, board games/cards and was a loving caretaker to her family and friends. Gail, along with her sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at I.M. Finney Funeral Home, 203 4th Street, Dravosburg, PA 15034. Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday at I.M. Finney Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg, PA.
