Ethel Eschelbacher Obituary

Ethel Jane Eschelbacher, 92, of Clairton, previously of Wilkinsburg, passed away at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. She was born in Pittsburgh on July 14, 1924 to the late George C. and Ethel MacDonald Beers. Ethel was the loving wife of the late Edward A. Eschelbacher who passed away in 2010. She is survived by daughter, Barbara A. Richardson of Seattle WA; sons, Keith M. Richardson of Glassport, Edward A. Eschelbacher Jr. of Pittsburgh; step daughter, Sandra Gerendash of McKeesport. Ethel was employed by Union Railroad, Union National Bank, Swindell Dressler Company in Pittsburgh and Clairton Police Department as a secretary, a member of First Presbyterian Church of Wilkinsburg, Lebanon Presbyterian Church of West Mifflin, and a member of Clairton Hill AARP # 2862. Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm at S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton, PA 15025. Service will take place at the funeral home following visitation at 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Ethel’s name to Mon Yough Mental Health, 331 Shaw Avenue, McKeesport, PA 15132.
