Emil "Zeke" Anthony Tomac, 97, of Dravosburg, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014. He was born April 16, 1917, to the late Anton and Marija Dometrovic Tomac in McKeesport. Emil was the loving husband of the late Dorothy Yarnovic Tomac, who passed away in 1998. He is survived by his daughter, Dorothy Ochap, of Woodstock, Ga.; son-in-law, David Zlokas, of Palm Coast, Fla.; grandchildren, Megan (Bryan) Hunt, of Atlanta, Ga., Katie (Brad) Leckenby, of Jefferson Hills, Phillip (Angela) Zlokas, of West Mifflin, Daniel Zlokas, of San Diego, Calif.; and great-grandson, Reid Leckenby. Along with his wife, Emil was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Zlokas; grandson, Matthew Ochap; brothers, Joseph and George; and sister, Frieda. He lived in the Dravosburg/McKeesport area for all his life, was employed by U.S. Steel Duquesne Works, served in the Army during World War II, being stationed in Italy; a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in West Mifflin, the Croatian Fraternal Union of McKeesport and the Penn Sembles Tamburitzans. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at I.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St., Dravosburg, PA 15034. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 12:30 p.m. at St. Agnes Church, presided by Emil's nephew, Father Phillip Pribonic and Father Joseph Grosko. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Mifflin. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Agnes School, 653 St. Agnes Lane, West Mifflin, PA 15122.
