Elizabeth Kiester Obituary

Elizabeth “Betty” Jean Kiester, 90, of Monongahela, formerly of Clairton, passed away peacefully Friday, June 16, 2017 in Donora. She was born in McKeesport on November 12, 1926 to the late Lawrence and Laura Lenhart Schork. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Kiester. She is survived by her son, Dennis W. (Laverne) Kiester of Monongahela, daughter in-law June Kiester of Elrama, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by sons Donald Kiester Jr. and Richard Kiester, brothers Lawrence Schork, Carl Schork, and Harry Schork, sisters Dorothy Sever, Kay Lawrence, and Frances McEwen. She spent most of her life in Clairton, was a retired volunteer for McKeesport hospital, and was also a former member of the Christian Missionary Alliance church in Clairton. Services and internment will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025.
