Blaine Charles Bedsworth, 77, of Clairton passed away Friday April 25, 2014, after a long battle with Cancer. He was the son of the late Harry L. and Lillian Dite Bedsworth of Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Alice Laverick Bedsworth of Clairton. One brother, Robert A (Nancy) Bedsworth of Elk Grove, California. Brothers and Sisters in-laws, and nieces, nephews and cousins. After High School, Blaine attended West Minister College for two years before joining the Navy for four years. After the Navy he attended Virginia Tech University for one semester then joined the Air Force for eight years where he was a Master Instructor in Electronic. Blaine served during the Vietnam War with secret electronics surveillance Unit of the Ho Chi Ming Trail. After his tour in the Air Force he attended Clarion University where he received a BA in Mathematics, receiving a Charter Membership in the Pi MU Epsilon Fraternity for superior achievement in the field of mathematics. Blaine worked for many Construction companies but retires while working for Dick Corp. in 1998. He loved programming and working with computers. Visitation will be Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 11AM until time of service at 1pm at S.M. Finney Funeral Home. 432. N 6th Street Clairton PA 15025. Following service there will be a reception in memory of Blaine at Rock Run Inn. Burial is private.
