Andrew Francis Andes

Andrew "Sonny" Francis Andes Jr., 65, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at Baldwin Health Center Nursing Home. He was born April 14, 1949, in McKeesport, to the late Andrew Andes Sr. and Helen Mihalek Andes, and spent all his life in the McKeesport area. He is survived by significant other, Joell Cantanzaro, of McKeesport; niece, Susan (Brian) Wiggins, of Liberty Borough; nephew, James (Brenda) Honick, of Dravosburg; two additional nieces; one additional nephew; four great-nieces; and four great-nephews. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Dolores Honick and Patricia Hill. Andrew was a graduate of McKeesport High School and Robert Morris College, where he obtained his B.A. and C.P.A. He was a member of 11th Ward Welfare Association Club, Am Vets in McKeesport, was a driver for S & S Cab Co. in McKeesport for over 25 years and also worked for the City of McKeesport Parks Department. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, with service to follow at 8 p.m. at E.C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave., Glassport, PA 15034. To help defray funeral expense, family suggests contributions to the funeral home in lieu of flowers
